This role is for an Industrial Electrician to join a reputable abrasives manufacturer, initially through temporary employment with a strong potential for permanent hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex process engineering production systems, including electrical equipment, setup, installation, and commissioning of machinery and technical systems, ensuring thorough documentation. Key duties also involve performing scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications, alongside conducting weakness analyses and optimizing systems. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician (preferably specializing in Energy Systems, Industrial Engineering) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience as an Electrician, preferably in energy systems or industrial engineering
- Experience with PLC controls (S5 / S7, Soft PLC)
- Experience with bus systems, power electronics, variable speed drives, and frequency converters
- Experience with measurement and control technology, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in a multi-shift system (potentially 6-day week), including weekend work and on-call duties. Physically fit for tasks such as wearing masks and working in hot conditions.
