Job Summary

This role is a central point of contact for user support, focusing on maintaining diverse system landscapes through targeted and traceable problem-solving. As an IT Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing hardware rollouts and IT workplace services, providing ticket-based onsite support for Windows clients, and offering Industrial IT support for specialized equipment like Panel PCs, scanners, and terminals. A key part of the job involves building and cabling standard business hardware. The ideal candidate possesses an IT education or equivalent qualification, knowledge of current Windows operating systems, and expertise in networking concepts (Switching, Layer 1-3). This position requires a structured approach, experience with ticketing systems, and the flexibility to participate in on-call duty and travel weekly to customer locations using a pool vehicle. This is an attractive opportunity with the option for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.
