Job Summary
This Service Desk Engineer role, based in Cologne, offers an opportunity to join a long-standing partner of German industry focusing on IT infrastructure optimization, hardware/software deployment, and high-quality user support. The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services by monitoring relevant ITSM processes and guaranteeing adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Day-to-day tasks involve providing essential First Level Support to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems, prioritizing and categorizing incoming support requests, and providing dedicated support to assigned key clients. This position requires a background in IT, strong technical skills in Microsoft operating systems and Office applications, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. It is initially offered through temporary employment with the option for permanent hire.
