Job Summary
This role is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join a long-established partner of German industry in information technology, focusing on infrastructure optimization and support. As a Service Desk Agent based in Darmstadt, you will be the primary point of contact for employee IT issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include qualifying incoming requests, documenting all processes within a ticketing system, and performing 1st Level Support for user accounts, access, and various activations. You will escalate complex issues to 2nd and 3rd Level Support. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT or IT commercial apprenticeship, foundational knowledge in network technology, and proven professional experience utilizing a Service Desk and ticketing system. This full-time position offers excellent development opportunities, predictable working hours, and the chance for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.
