Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity for a Junior Engineer to dive into the operations management of substations within a major energy grid operator in Bavaria, a 100% subsidiary of the E.ON Group. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring reliable energy supply for approximately 7 million people and supporting the integration of renewable energy sources. Day-to-day tasks involve learning the detailed processes and workflows of substation operations, providing hands-on support for daily operations, and building practical knowledge of the systems and infrastructure. As experience grows, the engineer will take on increasing responsibility for operational tasks and projects, laying the foundation for development into a full Operations Engineer. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, possesses initial project management skills, and is eager to contribute to shaping the energy future.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification. Ideally, additional electro-technical vocational training.

Experience

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent qualification
