Job Summary
This role is critical for ensuring material compliance within a dynamic, international technology company, focusing heavily on materials data management and supplier coordination. Key responsibilities include supporting and coordinating suppliers and in-house manufacturing to secure the necessary Material Data Sheets (MDS). A core task involves the accurate entry and verification of these sheets within specialized systems like IMDS and CDX, alongside the crucial development and maintenance of a comprehensive material database. The ideal candidate must possess a technical degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, coupled with at least two years of experience in supplier management and environmental compatibility testing, preferably within the automotive sector. Success requires excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and German, proven experience with material data systems, and a proactive, cooperative approach to project work.

Completed technical education (University, University of Applied Sciences, Technical College) or equivalent in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in supplier management and environmental compatibility testing
- Professional experience in the automotive sector (preferred)
- Experience in setting up material databases
- Experience in the application of IMDS and/or CDX
- Experience working in projects
