Job Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced PLC Programmer or Automation Technician seeking to shape the future of automated warehouse logistics. As a key member of a leading system integrator, you will be responsible for programming PLC controls, specifically using Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal, and commissioning automated conveyor systems and stacker cranes in highly automated logistics centers. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing system requirements, designing software component specifications, and implementing interfaces with higher-level control systems (WMS/MFS). The position requires close collaboration with project management and customers, culminating in on-site commissioning, primarily across Europe. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply deep knowledge in automation technology and bus/drive systems within complex intralogistics projects.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology, or Technician/Master qualification, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming or knowledge of higher-level programming languages
- Fundamental knowledge of automation technology, bus, and drive systems
- Experience in intralogistics is advantageous but not required
