Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology by serving as an Automation Technology Technician specializing in chemical plant construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of automation solutions, including planning, documentation, and implementation within plant engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include programming and modifying PLC systems, conducting rigorous testing and commissioning of new facilities, and analyzing and optimizing existing automation infrastructure. Key requirements include a state-certified technician qualification in Automation Technology or Electrical/Energy Engineering, practical experience in PLC programming, and solid knowledge of electrical or energy systems, particularly in switchgear construction.
