Job Summary

This role involves supporting the sustainable growth of a medium-sized paper industry company as a Power Plant Operations Engineer at the Schwedt plant. The engineer will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and improvement measures within the combined heat and power (CHP) plant, working closely with power plant and maintenance management. Key tasks include conducting weak point analyses, developing hazard assessments for maintenance technologies, and planning annual spare parts requirements and external services. A significant part of the job involves coordinating major shutdowns, managing investment proposals, and participating in the plant's on-call service. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification, possesses several years of experience in CHP plant maintenance, and demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, particularly in monitoring KPIs and contributing to budget planning.
