Job Summary

This position involves leading the development of the Digital Twin OVGU Campus (DTOC) project, creating a comprehensive digital representation of the university's main campus. The role requires defining and implementing requirements in close collaboration with administration and faculty to optimize processes and enable data-driven decision-making. Key components of the Digital Twin include a dashboard, sensors/actuators, attributed data, and an AI module for state prediction. Day-to-day tasks involve project leadership, active participation in research grant applications, project organization, and execution, alongside a teaching commitment (4 SWS). The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or equivalent, possesses strong expertise in areas like Digital Twins, Computer Networks, or Embedded Systems, and is expected to publish and present research findings at international forums.
