Job Summary
The Epikur Software GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer specializing in Second Level Support, focusing on the healthcare IT sector. This role involves taking ownership of complex technical issues escalated from First Level Support, particularly concerning Telematics Infrastructure (TI) and hardware firewalls. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and resolving intricate technical disruptions, independently configuring firewalls (e.g., Securepoint, Lancom), performing remote installations, updates, and security checks, and guiding customers through the setup and secure operation of their TI components (connectors, card readers, VPN). The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education, several years of experience in IT support or system operation, strong knowledge of networking and firewall environments (VLAN, VPN, NAT), and experience with ticket systems and ITIL processes. This position offers a chance to work within a specialized software company in the dynamic healthcare IT market in Berlin, requiring strong analytical skills and excellent customer communication.

Completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in IT support or system operation
- Experience in Second Level Support or as a Network/System Administrator
- Experience handling ticket systems and remote support tools
- Initial experience with the Telematics Infrastructure of the German healthcare system (ideal)
