This role involves working as a Testing and Materials Engineering Specialist for a renowned aerospace and defense client in Laupheim, Germany. The specialist will be responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting various test series, particularly focusing on materials testing, composites, and plastics, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. Day-to-day tasks include deriving test requirements from specifications, managing test equipment procurement, and continuously optimizing processes through digitalization and automation. A key aspect is maintaining necessary approvals and qualifications through regular audits and actively participating in 'fire working groups' and comparative studies.
