This role as a Specialist in Investment Risk Controlling, based in Cologne, is crucial for securing occupational pension provision for 14 million people by managing the risks associated with approximately €9 billion in capital assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting ongoing risk reporting, performing credit analysis to derive issuer limits for the direct portfolio, and rigorously monitoring compliance with established risk boundaries. You will actively contribute to the optimization and further development of the existing limit system and risk steering instruments, while also ensuring timely implementation of changing regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Economics or Natural Sciences and brings initial professional exposure to risk management within an insurance company or asset manager.
