Job Summary

This role involves managing the lifecycle of municipal road and civil engineering projects within the Mühlhausen City Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and continuously monitoring road conditions, planning and coordinating both maintenance and new construction projects, and accurately calculating associated costs. Key day-to-day tasks include developing necessary design and implementation documentation, managing the entire public procurement process, including tender evaluation and proposal drafting, and handling contracts for both freelance and construction services. This position requires a background in civil or road engineering, professional experience in structural civil engineering, and strong organizational skills, offering a stable, permanent contract with competitive public sector compensation (TVöD-VKA Pay Grade 10).
