Job Summary
This is a strategic and operational leadership role overseeing the entire administration and central services for a modern social welfare organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. The core focus will be on finance and controlling, where the successful candidate will lead a team of six, developing transparent financial planning, managing budgeting and forecasts, and continuously expanding the controlling and reporting systems. The Head of Central Services will be instrumental in ensuring economic steering, conducting profitability analyses, and developing key performance indicators. Furthermore, the role involves actively shaping the administrative process evolution, particularly in quality management and digitalization initiatives, while collaborating closely with the management board, auditors, and internal/external stakeholders to support strategic decisions and ensure compliance with funding and business regulations. This newly created position offers significant scope to actively professionalize administrative structures and set sustainable direction for the organization's future.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Business Administration, Administrative Management, Social Economics, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in the social economy sector
- Specific experience in finance and controlling environments
- Foundational knowledge of the framework conditions for non-profit organizations
- Experience in quality management, process optimization, and digitalization projects
