Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Chemist or Chemical Engineer eager to contribute to the production of high-quality oligonucleotides for biological and medical research and diagnostics. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the automated synthesis, purification, and quality control of oligonucleotides, including the monitoring and operation of synthesis automatons and HPLC systems. A key aspect of the role is the optimization and further development of manufacturing processes, particularly for complex and modified oligonucleotides, and producing materials according to ISO 13485 standards for In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). Candidates should possess a degree in Chemistry or a comparable education, preferably with a focus on organic chemistry, and be comfortable with hands-on laboratory work. Experience in nucleic acid chemistry or oligonucleotide synthesis is a significant advantage, making this an excellent opportunity to specialize in a niche, high-demand area of chemical manufacturing within a focused, independent company.
