Job Summary

This role involves actively contributing to the modernization of Germany's digital infrastructure by serving as a Field Service Technician specializing in mobile communications. Day-to-day duties include the installation, configuration, and fault clearance of radio infrastructure, as well as microwave link equipment and associated system technology from various suppliers. The technician is responsible for conducting precise measurements, testing, and comprehensive documentation/reporting. A key component of the role is participating in on-call duty, night, and weekend work to ensure system stability. Candidates must possess completed vocational training (e.g., IT System Electronics or Electrician) and several years of professional experience, ideally within telecommunications. Essential requirements include height suitability (G41 certification), a Class B driving license, and extensive travel readiness across central and southern Germany (postcode areas 3xx-9xx). This position offers an unlimited contract, above-tariff pay, and a company vehicle and phone.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT System Electronics Specialist, Electrician, Antenna Builder, or comparable qualification.
