Job Summary

This role involves the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and components specifically for commercial and special-purpose vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include laying cable harnesses, connecting control units and operating panels, and performing troubleshooting and repair on complex electrical systems. A key aspect of the job is integrating specialized equipment, such as LED lighting, blue light systems, radio, or camera systems, and ensuring thorough documentation and creation of test protocols. The ideal candidate holds a relevant technical qualification (e.g., Electrician, Mechatronics Technician) and is proficient in reading circuit diagrams. Experience with commercial vehicle technology or special vehicle construction is highly advantageous.
