Job Summary
This role involves working as a Chemical Specialist dedicated to ensuring a clean and safe future within the waste and environmental sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the acceptance, classification, sorting, packaging, and storage of hazardous waste. The specialist will also handle the loading and unloading of general cargo vehicles and occasionally transport packaged goods from customer sites to company locations. This varied and exciting role requires a background in chemistry or waste management, specifically expertise in declaring and storing hazardous materials and dangerous goods. Candidates must be qualified according to TRGS 520 standards, possess a Class B driving license, and demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, and flexibility when interacting with customers.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Specialist in Circular and Waste Management, or comparable certification
Experience
- Successfully completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Specialist in Circular and Waste Management, or comparable qualification
- Knowledge in the declaration and storage of hazardous waste/dangerous goods
- Qualification as a specialist according to TRGS 520
