Job Summary

The University of Bonn is seeking a full-time, permanent Technical Employee to join the Technology Department, responsible for operating and maintaining the technical building equipment across 350 university buildings. This varied and demanding role involves the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of refrigeration, climate control, and ventilation systems. A key component of the job is working with Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology within the technical building equipment, including integration with Building Management Systems (BMS). The successful candidate will also manage commissioning processes, lead defect management planning, and handle the maintenance of safety equipment in laboratories. This position requires a qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman in the relevant fields, or equivalent experience, along with a willingness to participate in on-call duty.
