Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to join a manufacturer specializing in custom special machinery and innovative testing systems for the consumer goods, industrial, and automotive sectors. The successful candidate will manage the entire control system lifecycle, including the selection and planning of suitable Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for bespoke systems. Core responsibilities involve programming PLCs, developing comprehensive operator and process visualizations, and performing critical commissioning tasks for new automation and testing technology. A key component of the job is providing on-site customer training and service, primarily within Germany. Applicants must possess a strong background in electrical engineering, specialized PLC programming qualifications, and practical experience with industry-standard systems like TIA Portal, CoDeSys, and TwinCAT. This position offers challenging, high-level technical work within an agile team environment.
