Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Manager for Power Grid Control Center Operations near Leipzig, tasked with ensuring stable, legally compliant operation of the electricity network. The position involves the technical and disciplinary leadership of the control center team, encompassing personnel planning, development, and adherence to safety standards. Key responsibilities include organizing control center operations, managing incident reporting, and active participation in crisis and emergency protocols. The manager will also coordinate external personnel, including field technicians and switching staff, and must be prepared to step in operationally for the grid dispatcher. Ideal candidates possess a background as an Engineer, Technician, or Master in Electrical Engineering, coupled with initial disciplinary leadership experience and familiarity with power grid and control center environments. Fluent German and the acquisition of switching authorization are prerequisites for success in this demanding leadership position.
