Job Summary

This role is for a Hardware Engineer to join a leading engineering and power plant construction company in Erlangen, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating manufacturing documentation for control cabinets, specifically within safety control technology, by translating functional requirements into qualified hardware platforms. Key tasks include calculating electrical parameters such as current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop, as well as estimating operating temperatures. The role also involves managing documentation using a dedicated system and coordinating with manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams to produce customer documentation.
