Job Summary

This role seeks an all-rounder to join the Nature Conservation, Water, and Soil Department, focusing on water monitoring and maritime pollution control. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the operations of the water monitoring and oil spill recovery vessel "Strelasund," ensuring technical and personnel readiness, and overseeing the oil defense base, including equipment maintenance. The position involves procurement, creating service specifications, reviewing invoices, and budgetary planning. Additionally, the staff member will handle decisions in water law procedures for first-order bodies of water (including coastal waters), conduct water supervision, manage hazard defense, and prepare official statements and hearing procedures. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in an environmental or environmental science field and demonstrates strong responsibility, communication, and organizational skills.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an environmental technology or environmental science discipline (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Land Cultivation and Environmental Protection)

Experience

  • Professional experience in ship technology (desirable)
  • Professional experience in procurement law (desirable)
  • Professional experience in pollution control

Languages
