Job Summary

This role involves the full lifecycle development and commissioning of PLC controls for specialized machinery, both internally and at international customer sites. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, programming, and commissioning PLC controls, specifically utilizing visualization (HMI) and operator interfaces. Key duties include analyzing, optimizing, and expanding existing control programs, performing troubleshooting, and conducting functional and acceptance tests. The ideal candidate must have a completed technical education or degree in automation, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, coupled with experience in PLC programming, preferably using Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7. This position requires a structured, solution-oriented approach, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to travel internationally for occasional commissioning tasks, offering a challenging and varied role within a dedicated team.
