Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead a laboratory team in Essen, Germany, focusing on the quality control of mineral oils and chemicals within an international service company. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of six colleagues, including creating duty and holiday schedules and coordinating daily tasks. A core part of the role involves independently conducting complex analyses on mineral oil products and biofuels using modern analytical techniques, such as ICP/AAS, GC, and wet chemistry. The role requires meticulous documentation of results and collaboration with the quality department for audit preparation. Ideal candidates possess a laboratory technical qualification or a chemistry degree, experience with the specified analytical methods, strong PC skills, and mathematical understanding.
