Job Summary

This role seeks an expert Bench Scientist specializing in LC-MS Bioanalytics to drive innovative bioanalytical solutions for complex new modalities, such as peptides and oligonucleotides, within research projects. The scientist will independently develop, establish, and validate sensitive analytical methods, focusing specifically on quantifying pharmaceuticals like peptides and siRNA in biological matrices. Key responsibilities include performing measurements using high-resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) or Triple Quadrupole-MS, evaluating results, and implementing innovative analytical techniques and automation concepts. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry) and possesses deep experience in LC HRMS. This position requires strong critical assessment skills, the ability to present scientific findings persuasively, and fluent proficiency in both German and English to effectively collaborate across interdisciplinary project teams and contribute to the department's technical advancement.
