Job Summary

This role involves the development and design of analog and digital hardware specifically for digital communication solutions, with a strong emphasis on Ethernet and explosion protection requirements. The specialist will manage hardware projects independently, from initial specification through to final approval and acceptance testing. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical documentation, building laboratory prototypes, and conducting systematic prototype tests and measurement campaigns. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field and possesses profound knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, signal processing, and digital communication systems. Experience with simulation tools and, ideally, familiarity with explosion protection concepts (especially intrinsic safety) are crucial for success in this challenging and rewarding position, which offers continuous professional development and a permanent contract.
