Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Photovoltaic Service Technician to join Otovo, a leading renewable energy company focused on residential PV systems across Europe. The technician will be responsible for the comprehensive diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of PV installations, including solar panels, battery storage systems, EV charging stations, and associated electrical components. Daily tasks involve routine electrical work, system updates, detailed documentation, and providing exceptional direct customer support, explaining complex issues and solutions. Candidates must possess a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, at least two years of relevant electrical experience (ideally in PV), and necessary VDE certifications. Strict adherence to German norms (VDE 0100, 0105) and safety regulations is mandatory, alongside strong independent working skills and a Class B driving license for daily field assignments.
