Job Summary
This role involves working as a Materials Tester within the materials laboratory for a renowned client, Airbus Aerostructures GmbH. The primary focus is on testing both fiber composite materials, such as GFRP and CFRP, and various metals including Aluminum, Titanium, and Steel. Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulous sample preparation, involving embedding, grinding, and polishing techniques, followed by advanced image analysis using state-of-the-art microscopes. You will also be responsible for preparing and examining series production samples and contributing to special topics, including failure analysis and development projects. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or an equivalent qualification, coupled with professional experience in laboratory work and techniques. Knowledge of metallurgy or metal technology, along with familiarity with Google Workspace, is essential.
