Job Summary
The State of Berlin is seeking a dedicated IT Administrator to join the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital (KMV), Germany's largest facility of its kind. This role is crucial for maintaining the institution's critical IT infrastructure, which supports the care of mentally ill and addicted offenders. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux, VMware/Broadcom, VDI/Omnissa), network components, firewalls, and communication systems. The administrator will manage Windows domains, including Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP services, and user/permission management, while also overseeing the backup system and system monitoring solutions. Key requirements include a university degree in Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology and professional IT experience.
