Job Summary
This role is a critical component of quality assurance within the energy technology sector, focusing on monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes. The Metrology Technician will execute comprehensive initial, intermediate, and final inspections, utilizing advanced 3D measurement technologies such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), FARO measuring arms, and GOM photogrammetry. A major responsibility involves managing non-conforming parts, which includes error assessment, root cause analysis, developing repair proposals, and coordinating solutions with assembly teams and suppliers. The ideal candidate possesses a completed apprenticeship in metal processing or a relevant technical degree (HTL), coupled with practical experience in 3D coordinate measuring machines (e.g., PC-DMIS, QUARTIS) and a strong grasp of technical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). This permanent, full-time position requires a proactive, analytical problem-solver who is committed to continuous improvement and precise documentation, ensuring high quality standards in all production phases.
