Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an international company specializing in hydropower systems, based in Vienna. The core focus of this role is executing basic and detailed electrical engineering design for hydropower plants, ensuring strict adherence to contractual requirements and applicable industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating comprehensive manufacturing documents and technical documentation necessary for client handover, as well as serving as the primary technical contact for clients, consultants, engineers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate must possess a completed technical education and strong practical knowledge of CAD tools, specifically AutoCAD and Eplan, complemented by 3D experience. This challenging role requires excellent German and English proficiency and includes a travel component of approximately 30%.
