Job Summary
This role involves working as a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician within the Facility Services team, focusing on the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and facilities for Wiener Lokalbahnen GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently executing necessary repairs, maintenance, and inspections of electrical systems. A key aspect of the role is meticulous control and documentation of all maintenance activities, alongside ensuring compliance with all relevant technical guidelines and safety regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational education in an electrical trade (such as Electrical Engineering, Energy/Building Technology, or Automation Technology), holds a Class B driving license (Class C is advantageous), and demonstrates strong German communication skills. This position requires flexibility, a precise and reliable working style, and willingness to occasionally work night, holiday, and weekend shifts, offering a diverse range of tasks beyond classic electrical duties.
