Job Summary

This role involves managing construction projects for maintenance and renewal measures within the Civil Engineering department of the Spandau District Office in Berlin. The successful candidate will act as a District Engineer in the Road Maintenance work group, overseeing the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and traffic safety monitoring for over 441 km of public roads and paths. Key responsibilities include processing special usage permits related to public supply and construction on adjacent properties, preparing tender documents, conducting cost calculations, evaluating bids, issuing contracts, supervising construction, and managing billing. You will also be responsible for arranging necessary safety and barrier measures during emergencies on major roads.
