This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional specializing in the administration and support of complex Windows and Linux environments. The specialist will be responsible for providing 2nd Level support, focusing on the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues within the IT infrastructure, including network and server systems. Key responsibilities include implementing security policies, optimizing system performance using monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Checkmk, and collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd Level support teams on escalations and new technology rollouts. The successful candidate must possess expertise in collaboration tools (Office365, MS Teams) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), along with a strong commitment to continuous learning and data security. This position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Ansible and various cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) in challenging, large-scale IT projects, requiring excellent German language skills and willingness to travel.
