This is a highly mobile and challenging role for a passionate Field Service Technician specializing in Electrical Systems, dedicated to global deployment. You will work with sophisticated industrial technology, handling the full lifecycle from installation and commissioning to repair, maintenance, modifications, and complex troubleshooting during worldwide assignments. A core part of the role involves extensive customer interaction, providing outstanding on-site and remote support, identifying service potential, and actively contributing technical ideas. This position requires significant international travel, typically 8 to 10 months per year, with individual assignments lasting up to three months, offering unique cultural immersion opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical qualification (such as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician), strong technical acumen, and professional fluency in both German and English for communication and reporting.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Electrician or Mechatronics Technician). Further qualification as a Master Craftsman or Certified Technician is beneficial.
Experience
- Professional experience in installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical/electronic machinery.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally for extensive periods (8-10 months per year).
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
- Suitable for both experienced professionals and motivated entry-level candidates.
