Job Summary

This role involves working as a Civil Engineer within the Road Planning and Design department of the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport in Stade. The primary responsibilities include creating road designs, encompassing documentation for spatial planning and approval procedures, and preparing execution documents, often in collaboration with external engineering firms whose work you will review. You will be responsible for coordinating with specialized authorities, public bodies, and affected parties, as well as preparing and managing external engineering services based on the German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, strong proficiency in MS Office, and desirable experience in relevant technical applications like BIM.
