Job Summary
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity as the Head of Division for Network Infrastructure and Telecommunications at the Brandenburg State IT Service Provider (ZIT-BB). The successful candidate will assume full management responsibility for a team of 15 professionals, overseeing the strategic planning, operation, and continuous development of the state's critical network infrastructure (LVN) and IP telephony systems. Day-to-day duties include coordinating network operations, ensuring secure central network transitions, integrating decentralized LAN environments, and managing procurement and financial planning for the division. A core focus is implementing and adhering to ITIL processes and serving as the overall project lead for major LVN contracts. Candidates must possess a scientific university degree (Master/Diploma) in Informatics or a related field, combined with extensive professional experience. Essential skills include proven leadership competence, deep technical knowledge of network architectures, LAN/WAN protocols, IP telephony, and IT security, alongside familiarity with ITIL frameworks. Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master or equivalent Diploma) preferably in Informatics, Business Informatics, Economics, Administrative Informatics, or Industrial Engineering. Alternatively, recognized equivalent skills and experience.

- Leadership experience required (managing a team of 15 employees).
- Experience in business administration (desirable).
