Job Summary

This role focuses on the development, design, and commissioning of highly complex antenna systems for cutting-edge satellite communication and space applications. The engineer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle, including creating system specifications and technical documentation, designing reflector antenna systems operating above 100 GHz, and performing detailed RF design, simulation, and assembly of complex transmission and reception chains using coaxial and waveguide technology. A key aspect involves technical coordination with partners for new RF components and conducting international commissioning and testing at global facility sites. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or RF Engineering, possesses experience in high-frequency measurement and simulation, and is willing to travel internationally to support critical space projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or High-Frequency Engineering.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience (advantageous)
  • Experience with measurement technology and simulation environments for RF systems
  • Knowledge of high-frequency measurement technology and waveguide technology (ideally)
