Job Summary
This role is central to advancing sustainable energy solutions for a major housing cooperative in Solingen, which manages approximately 6,900 residential units. The professional will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing energy and building services projects in both new construction and existing properties. Key activities include developing a master plan for sustainable power supply, implementing energy monitoring systems (including CO₂ reporting), optimizing facilities, and significantly expanding the use of renewable energy, particularly photovoltaics. The ideal candidate acts as the primary contact for project stakeholders, drives innovative energy concepts, and ensures technical, cost, schedule, and quality compliance across all projects. This position offers a meaningful, long-term role contributing directly to climate neutrality within the cooperative.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Building Services Engineering, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Relevant and several years of professional experience
- Experience in energy monitoring
- Experience in fire alarm technology
- Experience in the real estate sector (desirable)
