Job Summary

This role involves managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on both on-premise and cloud environments. The IT System Manager will be responsible for the planning, installation, and administration of Windows and Linux systems, utilizing virtualization technologies like VMware and container solutions. A core component of the job is the deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft cloud infrastructure, including Azure, M365, and Intune. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring high availability of data centers, implementing IT security guidelines, creating system documentation, and providing technical consulting in projects. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be service-oriented, and have profound knowledge in server virtualization and large Windows infrastructure administration, supported by good proficiency in both German and English.
