Job Summary
This role is ideal for a currently enrolled university student, particularly in Medicine or Natural Sciences, seeking practical experience in a clinical setting. As a Student Assistant in the Sleep Laboratory, you will be crucial in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing polysomnographic recordings. Day-to-day tasks involve wiring patients, connecting them to monitoring devices, and overseeing the monitor during recordings. The position requires comfort with medical technology, basic IT skills, and a sensitive, independent approach when interacting with patients, particularly during night shifts. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract (6 months, 8.5 hours/week) at the TUM Klinikum in Munich, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate academic life and providing valuable initial professional experience in a supportive environment.
