This role involves comprehensive management of civil engineering projects, including the planning, new construction, and maintenance of municipal roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. Key responsibilities include budget oversight, preparing decision-making documents for political bodies, and representing the department in public and council meetings. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diplom FH/Master) in Civil Engineering with a focus on underground construction, or an equivalent qualification. Certificate course in Municipal Specialist for Construction and Environment (desirable).
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience
- Professional experience in a municipal administration (desirable)

- Class B driving license required. Willingness to attend meetings outside regular working hours, especially in the evenings. Participation in on-call duties, involvement in the city's crisis staff, and participation in elections are required. Employment is initially temporary for 2 years as a probationary leadership position.
