Job Summary

This role involves supporting the IT and Digitalization department, focusing specifically on network infrastructure and school IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and integration of the Hesse-wide Cisco network infrastructure to ensure reliable communication and data transmission. Key duties include analyzing and resolving network disruptions to maintain system availability, leading and participating in IT projects to shape the digital future, and maintaining operational and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable qualifications with extensive practical experience in network administration, particularly with Cisco switches, routers, and controller-based WLAN infrastructure.
