Job Summary

This critical role seeks an experienced IT License Manager to take full responsibility for the company-wide Software Asset Management (SAM) process throughout the entire software lifecycle. The manager will serve as the central, strategic interface connecting IT, the Legal department, external partners, and software/cloud providers. Daily tasks involve ensuring continuous license compliance by inventorying and maintaining all IT software systems, including detailed license and contract documentation. You will actively manage procurement processes, advise internal clients on license-optimal utilization of IT systems, and be responsible for analyzing and optimizing Cloud and On-Demand services. Key requirements include a relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science or Business Administration) and several years of professional experience in software procurement and IT license management. The position requires strong negotiation skills, fluency in German (C1), and good English (B2).
