Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chemical Laboratory Technician to join a leading global specialty chemicals group in Leverkusen, with potential for permanent takeover. The position involves critical quality control and analytical tasks, ensuring the release of ion exchange batches. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing release tests, documenting results accurately in SAP and Excel, and conducting advanced analytical measurements such as TOC and titrations. Alternatively, the role may focus on quality management, including optimizing operational instructions, qualifying colleagues in QM procedures, validating analytical methods, and calibrating equipment. Candidates must possess a completed professional education as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in analytical laboratory work and intensive knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards relevant to the chemical industry. Strong German and English language skills, along with MS Office proficiency, are essential for success in this challenging and rewarding environment.
