Job Summary

This role is for an expert Media Technician based in Geisenheim, responsible for driving digital education across local schools. The core mission involves maintaining and administering the digital infrastructure and loan equipment of the Media Center, including iPads, audio/video technology, 3D printing, robotics, and VR headsets. Day-to-day tasks include installing and setting up audiovisual solutions in classrooms, technically preparing event spaces, and managing the technical and content aspects of the Media Center's and schools' websites. The technician will also advise teachers on media usage and manage media, licenses, and equipment via Antares CS. This position requires either a university degree in Computer Science or Microsystems Technology, or a relevant IT qualification combined with five years of professional experience, and offers a secure, full-time public sector job contributing significantly to future education.
