Job Summary

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is seeking a Process Support Specialist to join their Statistics Department in Flensburg, Germany. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining a new postal vehicle owner survey aimed at collecting primary data on driving performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing the data collection process, implementing quality assurance measures, and regularly reviewing sampling. They will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and perform data preparation and analysis for quality control. This position requires a background in IT, statistics, or mathematics, with a strong emphasis on data processing and analytical thinking. It's an opportunity to contribute to data-driven policy decisions in traffic planning and environmental protection within a federal agency.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor/FH-Diplom) preferably with a focus on (business) informatics, statistics, mathematics, or a comparable field; or demonstrated equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in statistical data preparation and evaluation
  • Experience in developing user software like SPSS or R
  • Experience with spreadsheet software like Excel
