Job Summary

This role is ideal for a proactive and skilled Safety Consultant specializing in the functional safety of machinery and plant systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising machine manufacturers and operators on safety solutions, conducting risk assessments according to the Machinery Directive and BetrSichV (Industrial Safety Ordinance), and consulting clients on CE marking, functional safety (PL, SIL), and modifications. The consultant will be heavily involved in turnkey projects, spanning from initial analysis to technical implementation, including audits, safety inspections, and machine acceptance tests. Key requirements include a technical background (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering), fundamental knowledge of relevant safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, EN IEC 62061), and strong communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
